Chapters are Social Clubs with military backgrounds. When is the last time your Chapter requested help from CAL-MOAA for anything? Was your "problem" solved? ( exception-Jerry Loeb solved a big one). Every member is privy to the same information from National MOAA thru the magazine and many other periodicals. Has your Chapter requested, or invited , an Area Director to your meeting to be brought up to date on ongoing "problems"? Getting members to serve in leadershhip roles is a Chapter problem-and it is a problem!! Many of our "rules and regulations" are getting harder to adhere to due to the age and health of many of our members. This is not news!! If 271 people has read this blog, why haven't we had more comments? Hell, I can't even type and it 'aint that big a deal. Jay Some Random Thoughts and Questions!!
