HOTEL RESERVATION STATUS AS OF OCTOBER 31ST

Chapter presidents and others are trying hard to obtain an Embassy Suites Hotel room reservation and in many cases without success.

The Council made arrangements for a block of rooms to be available at $119 plus tax until October 31st at midnight. All of those rooms have been taken.

The hotel indicated there were still a few additional rooms available and reservations would be made at the $119 rate until they were gone. The hotel is just about sold out.

A quick telephone call directly to Le Bren Martin, (805) 549-0800, Extension 522, might result in a reservation. She is usually in the office beginning at about 10:00am. Be sure to state that you are with MOAA, the California Council of Chapters, CAL-MOAA.

CDR Earl “Gus” Gustafson, USN (RET), the on-site coordinator, has been working very hard to obtain suitable alternate accomodations along Madonna Road, very near the Embassy Suites.
