MOAA DAY ON THE HORNET SURE TO BE SPECTACULAR EVENT

Greetings fellow MOAA members,

On behalf of the seven chapters that comprise CAL-MOAA Area 2, I want to thank the CAL-MOAA Executive Committee for their vote in favor of a CAL-MOAA guarantee of a maximum of $300.00 toward making MOAA DAY ON THE HORNET a success. You have expressed your confidence and trust that Area 2 will do its best to make this Event a success for MOAA, CAL-MOAA and our Chapters.

To my knowledge, a regional event of this magnitude has not been tried, at least in my neck of the woods. But, we are giving it our best shot!!!

Each one of you can help to make this a successful event. HOW??? By talking it up amongst your MOAA friends, contacts, etc. who may live in Northern California and be within reasonable driving distance of the Hornet. I have attached the official flyer covering this Event. Feel free to reproduce it and send it on to someone who might enjoy a fun MOAA DAY ON THE HORNET.

I will be working separately with Lee Lange and Warren Enos to get maximum promotion in The Military Officer and on CAL-MOAA’S website: http://www.cal-moaa.org/. Keep in mind, not only are we marketing this Event to the 1,000(+/-) MOAA members who belong to one of the seven Area 2 Chapters, but also to some 3,000 other MOAA members in our Area who do not belong to a Chapter.
