    QUARTERLY AWARD RESULTS

    As of April 14, 2008, we have recruited 697 members during the 2008 Give Me 10! (GMT) campaign. We are off to a great start in large part due to your efforts as leaders within your
    organizations. Our 2008 GMT campaign goal is 3,000 members, and with your continued leadership and support we can reach our goal.

    The 1st quarter GMT council winners, along with the number of members they?ve recruited between Jan. 1 and March 31, are as follows:

    - Northeast Region: Virginia Council, 247 new members recruited;
    - Southeast Region: Florida Council, 25 new members recruited;
    - Midwest Region: Texas Council, 90 new members recruited; and
    - West Region: Arizona Council, 17 new members recruited.

    The independent chapter winners by region are:

    - Northeast Region: Southern Maine Chapter, 1 new member recruited;
    - Southeast Region: none;
    - Midwest Region: Heartland of America (Neb.) Chapter, 13 new members recruited; and
    - West Region: Lake Tahoe (Nev.) Chapter, 9 new members recruited.

    Each winning council and independent chapter will receive a $250 campaign incentive check.

    Also, make sure to dispose of last year?s GMT campaign forms - both the old yellow and green forms. The proper codes for the 2008 GMT Campaign forms include M08 on the green form and F08 on the yellow form.

    The 2008 GMT by-state report for the end of March is attached for your review. As in the previous years, weekly chapter recruiting results are posted each Friday on the GMT Web site.
    The by-state report goes to council presidents monthly and also is posted on the GMT Web site.
