ANNUAL UPPER RESERVATION MASTER TOUR
May 09, 2008/ June 7th marks the return of our highly popular historic waling tour of the former
upper reservation of Fort MacArthur. This is a unique opportunity to get up close and inside some of the “off limits” areas of the former fort turned city park.
The tour starts at 9am this year and lasts about four hours. Participants are asked to ware comfortable closed toe walking shoes, bring a flashlight, and a willingness to explore. Ticket prices are $10 each and include refreshments along the way. Ticket sales support the restoration of the Battery Osgood-Farley historic site There are a maximum of 150 tickets available for this tour, so reserve early at http://www.ftmac.org.

About the Fort MacArthur Museum:
The Fort MacArthur Museum is a Special Facility of the city of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks. The museum is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the history of Fort MacArthur, a U. S. Army post that guarded the Los Angeles Harbor from 1914 to 1982. The museum opened to the public in 1986 and is located at the Battery Osgood Farley Historic Site located in Angels Gate (formally the Upper Reservation of Fort MacArthur) in the city of San Pedro.

The Fort MacArthur Museum Association is a non-profit corporation established in 1990 to support the restoration, interpretive, and education efforts of the Fort MacArthur Museum.
