    It’s for a $105M laboratory. Our client is buying $43M worth of lab equipment and Furniture. About ½ is done already (the first phase, is essentially done, what remains is phase 2, which is currently in commissioning, and they are going to start buying the equipment in a few weeks). In addition to the equipment procurement, there are some small projects (procurement of a lab management system, IT type systems, relocate and irradiator). Our client has multiple projects that will require the same services for at least a couple years.

The Candidate will have familiarity with ASW or undersea sensors and its employment, as well as tactical use of the ocean environment.     A. Officer of the Deck (OOD)/Junior Officer of the Deck (JOOD) Instructor

    Billet Description: This individual will be a part of a multi-instructor workforce providing advanced training and operating advanced ship-handling simulators to support normal, abnormal, and combat learning objectives for crews serving aboard Littoral Combat Ships (LCS). They will also assist in the development and maintenance of course, including qualifying as an instructor. They will report to and coordinate their activities with the Lockheed Martin Lead instructor at the LCS SBT.

    Required qualifications: 4-7 years commissioned USN, USCG (completed 2 Division Officer Sea tours), or qualified as Underway Officer of the Deck (OOD), and possess the ability to build, edit, and modify tracks in Voyage Management Systems (VMS).

    Preferred experience: Recent, relevant deployed experience (anti-piracy ops, counter drug ops, MIO, 5th fleet) LCS or High Speed Vessel, VMS/ECDIS-N, and Advanced Radar Plotting Aide (ARPA)

    Desired experience: Completed tour as a Navigator, Civilian Mariner (3rd Mate or above) license, and/or Tactical Action Officer.
