PROGRAMMER ANALYST IV Duties and Responsibilities: Contribute to a full software development life cycle that includes analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of new application development and maintenance and support. · Perform complex systems analysis and develop solutions in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle APEX development environment, Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Forms/Reports, javascript, XML, and SOA. · Perform data modeling, database design and SQL tuning tasks. · Provide overall technical direction to support group. · Reviews and evaluates feasibility studies and prepares recommendations based on in-depth knowledge of problem and the capabilities of potential approaches. · Develops work plans, cost and time schedule, and assures completion of projects on time and within budget. Requirements: Minimum Basic Qualifications: 9 yrs related experience w/Bachelors degree in CS, IT or related field from an accredited university (7 yrs exp w/Masters) · Five to seven years Oracle custom development experience in PL/SQL, Forms and Reports and/or APEX environment and SQL tuning. · Experience demonstrates frequent use and application of programming and analysis concepts with the ability to organize and schedule the workload to meet established deadlines or milestones. · Must have excellent oral and written communication. · Must be able to work independently and on a team. · Project or team leadership is desired. · Must be eligible to obtain secret clearance. (To be eligible to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance you must be a US Citizen with no prior felony convictions) Desirable Qualifications: · Experience in data warehousing, Business Objects, and SAP ERP is a plus. · Experience in manufacturing and financial applications is also a plus.
