Duties:
CACI has a contingent position for an Information Security Engineer located at our Oxnard, CA office. This individual will perform the following duties:
Provide analysis in the development of technical solutions to satisfy NUWC Division Keyport or NUWC Division Keyport customer requirements.
Conduct analyses to determine IA requirements applicable to given submarine systems and network architectures; providing recommendations of products and solutions to satisfy applicable IA requirements; and developing security architectures that satisfy the IA requirements.
Develop Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation.
Analyze given system or network, document its security features, and describe how those features address applicable security requirements.
Ensure that C&A documentation will be provided in a standardized IAW DoD Intelligence Information Systems Security Certification & Accreditation Guide, DS-2610-142-01 and Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/3, “Protecting Sensitive Compartmented Information Within Information Systems” references.
Provide on-site and/or remote IA engineering and technical support to satisfy NUWC Division Keyport or NUWC Division Keyport customer requirements. Examples of such support include: supporting IA certification testing, evaluation, and analysis; conducting IA testing. Prepare risk analyses, providing design recommendations, and coordinating with certifying organizations; developing, documenting, and supporting tools and methodologies for IA testing; and providing technical support for the implementation and use of Information Assurance products and technologies (e.g., Trusted Operating Systems, Guards, In-Line Network Encryptors, Intrusion Detection Systems and Multilevel Security (MLS) hardware and software). This includes support for installation, configuration and maintenance.
Required Qualifications: Must have an active DoD TOP SECRET Security Clearance to qualify.
Typically requires a bachelors degree in a related discipline such as telecommunications, engineering, computer science or equivalent experience, and two to four years of related information security engineering experience.
