Welcome to the website of the Alta California Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA). Alta Chapter serves the northern California counties of Sutter, Yuba, Butte, Nevada, and Colusa. Our Chapter received its charter on 15 April 1966 and still going strong with 230 members.

     We meet on the last Thursday of each month, except July and August, usually at the Officers Club at Beale AFB. Meetings may be a luncheon or dinner featuring speakers with a wide varity of topics, some informative some entertaining. Details of each meeting appear in our monthly newsletter the “ALTA GRAM”.      Each year we undertake major community service projects and present annual awards to distinguished ROTC and CAP cadets in our area.  We give financil support to two jrROTC units and two Civil Air Patrol Squadrons.
