Col William Reals, Jr. Signal Corps USA (Ret)

President


COL Reals was commissioned in May 1968 from the Army ROTC program at Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas.  His branch at Commissioning was the Signal Corps. .His initial assignment was to the 440th Signal BN; 7th Signal Brigade in Kaiserslautern, West Germany. He has served overseas and stateside in a number of Signal Corps units and has also served on the General Staff of The Army Signal Command, Ft. Huachuca, AZ. He is a Graduate of the Signal Officer Advance Course, the Command and General Staff College, The National Defense University, and The Air War College.

His assignments have been both Branch specific, Branch Immaterial, and as a Signal Officer at HQ, The Army Security Agency. His has over 30 years of Commissioned Service both Active and Reserve. He holds a Masters Degree from Eastern New Mexico University, Portales, New Mexico.

COL Reals is married to Mary M. Reals who is a Special Education Teacher in the Santa Ana School System. He has two children and 6 proxy grandchildren. He has been active in MOAA for the last ten years at the Chapter and Director level. His home chapter is Orange County Chapter where he served as the Chapter President for two consecutive terms, and previously served as the Area Director 6 for MOAA in Southern California
