LtCol Al Leidy, USMC -Ret.

Born in Reno Nevada 1922. Graduated from Herbert Hoover High School in San Diego in 1938. Attended San Diego State College, College of Pacific (UOP), Uni. of So Cal., Graduated from Uni.of Maryland. Enlisted in the United States Marine Corps 1942, Retired in 1966. Employed by the Uni. of California as Assistant Comptroller in 1966. Served as Vice President Administration and Controller at San Francisco State University from 1972 - 1984. Moved to Sacramento in 1985. Member of MOAA since 1966. Served as Vice President, President and Board Member of Sacramento Chapter of MOAA until 2007.
